Powers Insurance and Risk Management was recently recognized in the Insurance Journal’s “2017 Agents of the Year” edition. In the article (found on page M2), Powers insurance is highlighted for it’s name change to better reflect our emphasis and focus on providing true risk management solutions to our clients.
Last year really was a year of positive change for the agency. The updated name also coincided with the grand opening of our new building at 6825 Clayton Avenue, the release of our updated Website, and our new eco-friendly Plant-A-Tree campaign. The new building replaces a dilapidated building that sat vacant for 13 years at the High Point intersection and also hosts a Fox2News and weather bureau as well as Scholarship Foundation. The “Plant A Tree. Its Good Policy.” campaign is a part of the company’s carbon-neutral push, where Powers will plant a tree for every new client that joins the company.
